Comfortable Housing for Villagers

The country is actively pursuing large-scale work on the development of infrastructure, improvement of villages, construction of modern housing.

In Namangan region, the newly organized special construction and repair contractors, along with major construction companies, are building comfortable houses on the basis of modern architectural design, repairing and reengineering existing ones, beautifying the streets.

“At the first stage, it is projected to build 190 cottage houses in villages of the region,” informs Alisher Mashrabov, head of regional architecture and construction administration. “Six modern-village projects have been worked out, land was allocated and construction of new villages began in two districts.

One of the modern villages is being built in Kosonsoy. In accordance with the state program of the Year of Rural Development and Improvement, architects of the district have been carefully studying individual projects of modern housing for rural residents, taking into account local conditions, national and cultural features.

Modern architectural design of Buloq village in Ququmboy citizens’ assembling developed jointly with specialists from Arkhdizaynloyiha LLC was highly praised at a specialized exhibition of individual housing projects for rural population, and building materials held in Tashkent, and recommended for implementation in practice.

“165 individual houses based on model projects will be erected in Buloq village,” said chief architect of the district, Hamidhon Omonboev. “Of these, 28 are two-story five-room houses, and the remaining 137 are one-story four-room houses designed in compliance of our population’s peculiar way of life and family culture. Particular attention is paid to creating necessary environment for children to study and spend spare time. The project reflects every detail, down to the varieties of fruit and ornamental trees, flowers, even the vine to be planted in the yard.

Currently, reconstruction and improvement projects are being carried on in other villages of the district, roads and other communication networks are reengineered. Master plans for 15 of 31 villages of the district are redeveloped.

Jar and Rovot villages are also implementing modern housing projects. In particular, a cascade has been built in Jar village and 6 two-story and 14 one-story houses are being roofed. Builders erected a sports complex consisting of a swimming pool, an indoor hall for a mini-football, as well as a gym.

There are many villagers who wish to move to these cottages with a projected cost of about 50-70 million soums. Thirty-seven people expressed their wish to purchase the modern-design houses. Their applications are reviewed with the participation of an appropriate commission and submitted to regional branch of Qishloq Qurilish Bank for a loan. Applicants provide initial installment.
