10,000 Out of 30,000 New Jobs in Jizzakh Go to Home-Stays

The Limited Liability Company Zilola Tex of the city of Jizzakh, the administrative capital town of the province, has well accomplished the yearly portfolio of orders to producing clothes for children and adults, the Pravda Vostoka newspaper reported.
Thirty designations of high-demand products worth 345 million Uzbek soums were realized to consumers in the province, as much as nationwide.
The rich experience of employees, the bulk of which make up the female workers, periodical renewal of equipment, use of leading local and foreign technologies, as well as scrupulous study of consumer demand make up in sum a fine recipe for the company success.
“170 home-based workers also show their worth,” said the team-leader at the company T.Umarova. “Last year they weaved and sewed various clothes worth 1.170 thousand Uzbek soums. In 2009 20 more people said they wished to work in such conditions. All of them will be provided with weaving equipments and sewing-machines.”
Out of 30,000 jobs, which were established last year in the province, over 10,000 were created for the home-stay workers, in line with the newspaper report.
